Introduce of proficiency testing
Proficiency testing is used to evaluate participant performance against pre-established criteria by means of interlaboratory comparisons, and also is one of the essential conditions required to add or maintain Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment(CNAS) established the policy of proficiency testing according to the requirements of International Laboratory Accreditation cooperation(ILAC) and Asia-Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation(APLAC). Shanghai Institute for Food and Drug Control(SIFDC) is one of the coordinators of CNAS with the responsibility for organizing and managing all of the activities involved in the operation of a proficiency testing scheme in pharmaceutical area.
